Missions in Belarus

In early October, 2001, church planters from different areas of Belarus gathered in Gatova for a conference with Geoff Volker of In-Depth Studies. It was a blessing for me to meet and gather with these brothers. Together we looked at the church in the New Covenant. Many of these men have only been saved a short time. They have a passion for God to be glorified through the proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ!

We met in the "upper room" in farm building where the saints of First Baptist Reformed Church of Gativa Settlement meet. Vladimir Buckanov, who serves as a pastor there, was our host. This man truly has a pastor's heart. In the picture below, Vladimir is to the right of Victor (our translator who is wearing the navy blue 'Red Sox' sweater).
